Lead Data Scientist - Python / Scikit-Learn

We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist to join one of the world's top-tier management consulting organizations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of advanced analytics, strategic business thinking, and client engagement. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be a trusted advisor to clients, leading end-to-end AI / ML engagements and driving business growth through data-driven solutions.

You'll work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate complex business problems into machine learning models, while also playing a key role in building and nurturing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities :

• Build and sustain long-term relationships with key clients, acting as a strategic advisor on data science and AI initiatives.
• Lead client engagements from proposal to delivery, ensuring consistent value delivery and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales and leadership teams to support pre-sales, prepare proposals, and craft data-driven value propositions.
• Identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients by introducing new analytics solutions and capabilities.
• Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models including but not limited to Random Forest, XGBoost, SVM, and deep learning techniques as needed.
• Translate business problems into structured analytical frameworks and deliver actionable insights.
• Oversee a team of data scientists and analysts in end-to-end model development, validation, and implementation.
• Work hands-on with tools and libraries such as Python, Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy.
• Guide junior team members and contribute to the recruitment, training, and mentorship of data scientists.
• Drive innovation in analytics by exploring emerging technologies and methodologies (e.g., Generative AI, MLOps, etc.).
• Represent the firm in thought leadership forums, whitepapers, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
