As part of our growing team, you will work closely with the Core Team to build and nurture partnerships that advance our initiatives, amplify our voice, and create long-term value for the communities and causes we serve.

Role Overview

As a Partnerships & Outreach team member, you will play a key role in strengthening 8one’s relationships with diverse stakeholders from institutions and networks to media and collaborators.

You will help identify opportunities for strategic alliances, design outreach initiatives, and ensure consistent and authentic communication that reflects 8one’s values.

This is a dynamic role that combines relationship-building, communication strategy, and ecosystem engagement. It requires curiosity, initiative, and a strong sense of purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnership Development : Identify, initiate, and sustain collaborations with organisations, institutions, and individuals aligned with 8one’s vision.
  • Strategic Outreach : Design and implement outreach plans that enhance the visibility, credibility, and reach of our programmes and initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Build trusted relationships with existing and potential partners, ensuring regular communication and alignment on shared goals.
  • Media Engagement : Build and manage relationships with journalists, editors, and publications. Draft press releases, pitch stories, and respond to media queries to amplify 8one’s work.
  • Social Media Promotion : Support in planning, curating, and managing content across our social media platforms to strengthen online presence and engagement.
  • Representation : Represent 8one at meetings, events, and forums to communicate our work and explore avenues for joint action.
  • Communications Support : Contribute to messaging, proposals, and collateral that effectively convey the purpose and impact of our initiatives.
  • Events and Campaigns : Support in planning and executing events, workshops, and campaigns that strengthen engagement across our networks and platforms.

Requirements

  • A graduate degree in communications, public policy, development, or a related field.
  • 0–4 years of experience in partnership management, outreach, communications, or related roles.
  • Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of India’s development ecosystem and an interest in education, civic engagement, or social innovation.
  • Ability to think strategically, work collaboratively, and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Based in or willing to work from our office in Greater Kailash, New Delhi.

  • Type : Full-time position
  • Location : On-site (Greater Kailash, New Delhi)
  • Remuneration : Based on experience and in line with sector norms
  • Start Date : Immediate or as per mutual agreement
