Wintel Consultant (L3)

We are seeking a seasoned Wintel Consultant with extensive experience in managing and supporting Microsoft Windows Server environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in virtualization, Active Directory, and a strong background in providing senior-level (L3) support for complex technical issues. The role requires you to use your strong analytical skills to perform quantitative and observational data analyses to troubleshoot and optimize systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Administration : Provide advanced administration and support for Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Virtualization Management : Design, implement, and maintain virtualized infrastructures using VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Identity and Access Management : Manage and troubleshoot complex issues related to Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Data Management : Oversee and maintain storage and backup solutions to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Troubleshooting & Support : Act as a senior-level (L3) escalation point for complex technical issues, performing in-depth root cause analysis and providing timely resolutions.
  • Data Analysis : Utilize strong analytical skills to perform quantitative and observational data analyses for system troubleshooting and performance optimization.

Technical Skills

  • Operating Systems : Windows Server (all versions).
  • Virtualization : Deep knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Identity & Security : Expertise in Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Storage & Backup : Strong experience with various storage and backup solutions.
  • Networking : Knowledge of network protocols and concepts.
  • Scripting : Proficiency in PowerShell for automation is a plus.

    • Experience & Education

  • Experience : A minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in Windows Server administration and support, with at least 3 years in an L3 role.
  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Professional certifications such as MCSE or VMware Certified Professional are highly desirable.
