Social Media Manager - Government Projects

We are looking for a

Social Media Manager (Lead) preferably experienced working with Government (Ministries and PSUs) clients, to take ownership of our client’s social presence and lead a dynamic team of social media specialists.

Location : Onsite; New Delhi

Experience :

7-8 years | Immediate Joiners preferred

️ Candidates with experience in Government PSU and Ministry clients are required

Role Description

• Strategic Leadership :

Develop and execute the overall social media strategy aligned with broader marketing and brand objectives.

Strategize and manage daily social media activities across platforms —

Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.

Collaborate with content, design, and video teams to produce high performing content tailored for each platform (Instagram, LinkedIn, X / Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).

Should demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and professionally with government departments and public sector stakeholders. Skilled in understanding bureaucratic processes, maintaining formal correspondence, and ensuring clarity and compliance in all client communications

Plan and execute social media campaigns, brand collaborations, and influencer initiatives.

Proactively identify and respond to potential brand risks on social media channels.

Stay ahead of trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to keep our strategy fresh and relevant.

What we are looking for?

7+ years of experience

in social media management, with at least

5 years in a leadership role

– you’ve led teams, driven campaigns, and made an impact!

Proven experience handling

Government PSU or Ministry clients

– navigating bureaucracy with finesse and professionalism.

A natural mentor and leade r – capable of inspiring your team to deliver creative, data-driven campaigns

Hands-on experience in

marketing / advertising agencies , with a knack for creating strategies that work.

Strong

marketing acumen , excellent

client-facing skills , and the ability to translate political awareness into powerful social campaigns.
