Ecommerce Insights Manager

Job description4-5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering roles. Direct experience with ecommerce analytics from platforms like Amazon Seller Central and Shopify. Proficient in building automated reports and dashboards using tools like Looker Studio, Power BI, SQL, and Google Sheets. Strong experience with data storage and pipeline tools (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS). Excellent communication skills, able to explain data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in a remote setting. Experience working with US or UK-based ecommerce or DTC companies. Experience with API integration and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Apps Script). Effective communicator who can translate data into meaningful narratives and influence decision-making at all levels.

About the Role
This position involves building scalable reporting systems, automating data flows, and translating business needs into actionable insights. The ideal candidate is both technical and business-minded, comfortable working cross-functionally, and eager to take on leadership responsibilities within six months with mentorship from a senior analytics professional.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly ecommerce performance reports using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, and Power BI.
- Create user-friendly dashboards to visualize key performance metrics.
- Integrate and analyze data from platforms like Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, Meta Ads, and Google Ads.
- Design and manage systems for data storage and organization using tools like BigQuery, Snowflake, or AWS.
- Automate reporting processes using scripts and APIs to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and executive teams to deliver insights and answer key business questions.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for all reports, systems, and dashboards.
