SAP Basis Consultant

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled SAP BASIS Consultant to join our dynamic SAP team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the SAP systems across development, testing, and production environments. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring system stability, performance, and availability while supporting ongoing projects and system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S / 4HANA, BW, PI / PO, Solution Manager, etc.).
• Perform system copies, client administration, transport management, and background job scheduling.
• Monitor SAP systems using tools like Solution Manager, CCMS, or third-party monitoring tools.
• Manage SAP kernel upgrades, patch application, and database administration (HANA, Oracle, or MS SQL).
• Perform user administration and role / profile management in coordination with the security team.
• Work closely with functional and development teams to support application changes and deployments.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and provide root cause analysis and resolution.
• Participate in SAP system migrations, upgrades, and backup / recovery strategies.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery preparedness for SAP environments.
• Maintain documentation related to system configuration, architecture, and standard operating procedures.
