Role & Responsibilities :
Contract Drafting and Review
- Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, policies, terms and conditions, and other legal documents to support business operations and compliance.
Legal Guidance
Provide legal guidance to cross-functional teams on document standards and ensure contracts align with corporate objectives and legal requirements.Legal Research and Risk Mitigation
Conduct legal research and analysis to support contract negotiations, identifying and mitigating potential legal and business risks.Contract Lifecycle Management
Manage contracts from drafting to execution, amendments, and renewals while ensuring adherence to internal processes and external regulations.Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather relevant information for contract preparation and resolve discrepancies to maintain document accuracy.Documentation and Record Management
Maintain legal records, contracts, and documentation in a central repository or contract management system in an organized and timely manner.Due Diligence Support
Prepare and review legal documents for mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other business transactions as part of due diligence processes.External Counsel Coordination
Work with external legal counsel to resolve complex contract issues and manage outsourced legal tasks, ensuring alignment with internal guidelines.Training and Guidance
Provide training and guidance to team members on contract management practices, legal policies, and risk mitigation strategies.Preferred Candidate Profile :
Law graduate (LLB) with relevant experience in corporate contract management.Strong understanding of legal documentation, contract standards, and corporate compliance.Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work with cross-functional teams.Experience working with contract management systems and maintaining legal records.Skills Required
