We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Manager to oversee the human resources function for our domestic BPO workforce in India. This role requires expertise in statutory compliance, benefits administration, and employee relations. You will ensure smooth HR operations, maintain legal compliance, and foster a positive and engaged workforce. This is a non-client-facing position with a strong focus on internal management and people processes.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and government-mandated benefits
Oversee TDS, PF, ESIC, and Gratuity calculations, filings, and processes
Manage payroll deductions, contributions, and regulatory documentation
Serve as the point of contact for employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution
Conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary procedures fairly
Develop strategies to increase employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention
Maintain accurate HR records using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Support HR audits, reporting, and compliance-related requirements
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years HR Manager experience in the BPO domestic market
Proven expertise in TDS, PF, ESIC, and Gratuity management
Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR compliance
Experience using ATS platforms for HR operations and data management
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to manage sensitive HR matters with discretion and fairness
Strong organizational and decision-making abilities
