Key Responsibilities :
The Vice President role in Presales Solutioning, Solution Design, Bid Management, and Transition involves driving strategic presales initiatives and leading cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative, client-centric solutions. The position demands expertise in solution design, bid management, complex transitions, project management, and senior stakeholder engagement.
1. Solution Design :
- Partner with sales and business development leadership to understand client requirements and design best-fit solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments to support strategic proposals.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with global industry best practices.
2. Presales Leadership :
Lead end-to-end presales activities, engaging with C-level client stakeholders to define requirements and position solutions.Collaborate with sales teams to build winning strategies for bids and proposals.Provide thought leadership to strengthen the organization's value proposition.3. Bid Management :
Oversee the bid management process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compelling responses to RFPs / RFIs.Develop win themes, differentiators, and executive summaries to position solutions competitively.Ensure compliance with client requirements while maintaining profitability and delivery feasibility.Manage cross-functional bid teams, setting timelines, deliverables, and review checkpoints.Track bid outcomes, analyze performance, and implement continuous improvements in bid management practices.4. Stakeholder Collaboration :
Drive collaboration across internal teams (sales, BSG, marketing, delivery, operations) to ensure comprehensive proposal development.Manage senior stakeholder expectations by setting clear deliverables, timelines, and governance frameworks.5. Transitions, Project Management & Client Engagement :
Serve as the executive point of contact for clients during transitions, ensuring seamless handovers and strong relationship management.Conduct regular governance reviews with clients to provide updates, address escalations, and ensure satisfaction.Champion process improvements and implement best practices across solutioning, bid management, and transition management.Develop and maintain executive-level documentation for transition processes, solution frameworks, and client engagement.Define and monitor KPIs to measure success of solutioning, bidding, and transition outcomes.6. Leadership & People Development :
Lead and inspire a team of solutioning, bid management, and transition leaders, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.Provide mentorship, succession planning, and professional development opportunities to strengthen leadership capabilities.Collaborate with other business functions to ensure alignment with organizational goals and client priorities.Qualifications & Experience :
Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree 18+ years of overall experience, with at least 10+ years in solutioning, presales, bid management, or related functions within the US Healthcare RCM / ITES industry at Senior Leadership level.
Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transitions, managing bids, and delivering high-value solutions.Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and drive tactical execution.Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.Advanced skills in data analysis, business case development, and executive presentations.(ref : iimjobs.com)
