Job description4+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails in a production environment. Solid understanding of MVC architecture, PostgreSQL, Redis, and API design principles. Experience working with AWS or similar cloud platforms. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems. Exposure to CI / CD pipelines and agile development methodologies. We're looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails to join our tech team in Gurgaon.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll work on high-impact projects powering our core travel platform, contributing to the architectural vision, and building scalable backend systems that directly influence the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Ruby on Rails.
- Lead and contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and design decisions.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to deliver features end-to-end.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using industry best practices.
- Drive engineering excellence through continuous improvements in performance, reliability, and scalability.
