Responsibilities
- Project leadership : Oversee all civil engineering projects, from initial design and feasibility studies to final construction and execution.
- Strategic planning : Develop functional strategies and objectives for the department, aligning them with overall business goals.
- Budget and resource management : Approve budgets, analyze costs, and manage resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Technical oversight : Review and approve engineering plans, specifications, and designs to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Staff management : Lead, mentor, and motivate the engineering team, delegating tasks and ensuring continuous professional development.
- Stakeholder communication : Coordinate with other departments, contractors, architects, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project development.
- Quality and compliance : Establish and enforce quality control, safety policies, and ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations.
