Location : Patiala and / or Amritsar, India (office based)

Type : Full-time, 40 hours per week

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources function in Patiala, India . This role is critical in shaping our people strategy, fostering a positive culture, and supporting the growth of our mission-driven teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for staff and volunteers in India.

Ensure policy implementation, legal compliance, and strong HR processes.

Drive employee engagement, team-building initiatives, and well-being programs.

Support performance management, capacity building, and talent development.

Partner with leadership to shape HR strategy aligned with organizational goals.

What We’re Looking For :

5+ years of relevant HR experience, ideally in NGOs, humanitarian, or social sector organizations.

Strong understanding of Indian labour laws and HR compliance.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Fluency in Punjabi, Hindi, and English is essential.

A strategic, empathetic, and people-focused leader.
