Post Doctoral Fellow for Mahindra - Virginia Tech Interdisciplinary Advanced Research Centre

Mahindra University – Virginia Tech Interdisciplinary Advanced Research Centre for Transformative Technologies (MU–VT IARCT2) is looking for a post-doctoral fellow to work in an emerging area of Interface between Computational Fluid Dynamics and Artificial Intelligence.

The candidate should have earned a Doctoral degree from a reputed University in India or abroad in any area related to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). He (she) should have spent considerable effort developing his own code and software, apart from using commercial or open source software. Experience in Python is desirable but not essential.

The candidate should have a knack of and interest in emerging technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. He will be trained appropriately to engage with the latest techniques in AI, ML and DL and their application in CFD in novel areas where the supervisor and his team are working.

Responsibilities

The candidate is expected to be actively engaged in frontier research in the mentioned area with consequent high quality publications, and filing of Intellectual Property, through breakthrough technology developments. Expectation of an amiable personality and an effective team player.
