Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Testing Engineer / DB Testing professional to join KVC Consultants Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for validating data layers, ETL processes, and Microservices using SQL, Python, or Java for automation. Your expertise in various testing tools and knowledge of cloud data testing will be a significant advantage in ensuring data quality and integrity.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Perform comprehensive data testing, including SQL, ETL, and data layer validations .
  • Test Microservices (API) to ensure data consistency and functionality.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts using Python or Java for various testing phases.
  • Utilize and contribute to Test automation for Graphical User Interface (GUI), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and ETL, leveraging tools such as Selenium, Appium, Mocha, TestNG, CA Dev Test, Rest Assured, IDQ, DVO , etc.
  • Work with build management tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, and GitLab .
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective management of testing processes.

Technical and Professional Requirements :

  • Experienced data testing profile with strong skills in SQL, ETL, Data layer validations, and Microservices (API) .
  • Proficiency in Python / Java automation .
  • Good to have experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and Cloud (Azure / AWS / GCP) Data Testing.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Test automation (GUI / SOA / ETL) utilizing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Mocha, TestNG, CA Dev Test, Rest Assured, IDQ, DVO , etc.
  • Familiarity with build management tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, and GitLab .

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Cucumber for Automated Testing.
  • Knowledge of Microservices API Management .
  • Expertise in ETL tools for Data Warehouse Testing.
  • Experience with Jenkins for Build Management.
  • Proficiency in Python Programming .
  • Experience in Mobile Functional Test Automation (iOS / Android) using Appium .

    • QUALIFICATION :

  • MCA, MSc, MTech, Bachelor of Engineering, BCA, BSc.
