We are looking for a finance professional with deep functional expertise in SAP FICO who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring efficient and robust financial processes within the organization.
Mandatory Qualifications :
The ideal candidate must possess one of the following qualifications :
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Cost and Management Accountant (CMA / ICWA)
- Master of Commerce (M.Com)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
- Equivalent Finance Qualification
Key Roles & Responsibilities :
As a Senior SAP FICO Consultant, your primary responsibilities will include :
Implementation & Optimization :
Business Analysis : Analyze and understand complex business requirements across Finance and Controlling domains.Gap Analysis : Conduct thorough gap analysis between current business processes (As-Is) and desired future states (To-Be).Blueprint Creation : Document business processes, functional specifications, and prepare detailed project blueprints for in-house SAP implementations and rollouts.Execution : Independently execute and lead in-house SAP FICO implementations and rollouts.Enhancement : Propose and implement enhancements to existing SAP functionalities based on evolving user and business requirements.Testing & Validation :
Validation : Validate all reporting and customization requirements against business needs and SAP capabilities.Testing : Perform rigorous functional and integration testing to ensure solutions are robust and meet all specifications.Partner Coordination : Coordinate closely with external implementation partners during major rollouts, and review / assess their deliverables for quality and compliance.Support & Training :
Query Resolution : Act as the subject matter expert to resolve high-level (L3 & L4) user queries and provide expert guidance.Training : Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions to internal SAP and Finance teams on new or existing FICO functionalities.Documentation & Knowledge Sharing : Maintain meticulous project documentation, create knowledge articles, and ensure seamless knowledge transfer of all deliverables to internal stakeholders.Preferred Skills & Experience :
Proven experience in successfully delivering multiple end-to-end SAP FICO implementations.Strong understanding of integration points between SAP FICO and other core SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP).Experience in implementing Treasury modules is a significant plus.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Ability to work effectively in a 6-day work week, on-site environment.Demonstrated ability to function independently and take ownership of complex tasks.(ref : iimjobs.com)
