Cyber Identity Solutions - Senior Linux Server Architect - Red Hat / CentOS

Key Responsibilities (KRAs) :

• Linux Infrastructure Design & Management : Lead the design, implementation, and administration of large-scale, complex Linux server environments, primarily using RedHat, CentOS, or Rocky Linux, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Virtualization Management : Oversee and manage VMware administration, including virtual machine deployment, configuration, and optimization.
• Network Service Configuration : Architect and manage critical network services, specifically DNS and DHCP configurations on Linux systems.
• Automation & Scripting : Develop and maintain robust Shell scripts to automate routine tasks, system deployments, and operational processes.
• Drive infrastructure automation initiatives using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Network Foundation & Troubleshooting : Apply a solid understanding of TCP / IP networking concepts to design resilient network solutions and perform advanced network troubleshooting.
• System Reliability & Support : Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex Linux server issues, ensuring system stability and minimal downtime.
• Be willing to work after office hours when required for critical support.
• Documentation & Best Practices : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for server configurations, automation scripts, and operational procedures.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise best practices for infrastructure management.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with development teams, network engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications on Linux Skills :
• 8+ years of Linux administration experience in enterprise environments (RedHat / CentOS / Rocky Linux).
• VMware administration experience.
• Expertise in configuring and managing DNS / DHCP on Linux.
• Strong Shell scripting skills (ability to create & manage complex scripts).
• Proven experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible / Terraform.
• Solid understanding of TCP / IP networking concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work after office hours when required for critical Skills :
• Experience with server hardware : Cisco UCS, HPe Synergy, HPe DL360.
• Cloud platform experience : Azure / GCP.
• Exposure to Windows Server & Active Directory administration.
• Experience with backup tools like Veeam, Cohesity.
• Familiarity with security tools like Qualys, CyberArk, SentinelOne
