About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage and oversee all procurement activities — from vendor selection and negotiation to timely delivery of materials. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in strategic sourcing, vendor development, and cost optimization for engineering or manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores, planning, and accounts teams.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain vendor performance records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory procurement norms.
- Handle import / export documentation (if applicable).
- Collaborate with project, accounts, and production teams for smooth operations.
- Generate periodic purchase reports and cost analyses for management.

Strong negotiation and analytical skills.Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.Proficiency in ERP / SAP similar systems.Good communication, leadership, and vendor relationship management.Attention to detail and strong decision-making ability.Qualification :
