About GlueX

GlueX protocol is a modular framework designed to uniformly represent blockchains, intents, originators and liquidity providers for deploying high performance, universal solve computing capabilities. These capabilities can be accessed by any blockchain, originator or liquidity provider configured as GlueX module and made available to the protocol’s competitive optimizer network

We are a startup team of ~15 engineers with a wealth of experience from building OTEX, and the team members are globally distributed around the world while enjoying the benefits of being remote workers

The Role

We’re looking for a creative, product minded Frontend engineers who loves taking ownership from concept to launch. You will deliver elegant, responsive and high performing user facing features using Next.js (or React) and Typescript. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers and backend engineers to best balance constraints with requirements, delivering best in class user interfaces optimized for modern mobile and desktop browsers, while creating frontend infrastructure to support rapid experimentation and development

Job responsibilities

• Own the user experience – plan, build and ship new features end to end
• Collaborate closely with design, product managers and backend engineers to plan, develop and launch new product features, iterate on existing features and UI functionality, and build a world class user experience
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve existing or newly identified prioritised defects
• Ensure high quality code through solid testing and adherence to best practices / standards
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share ideas / knowledge among your peers
• Create and maintain technical documentation as part of new features or spike discoveries
• Consider automation, accessibility, security, observability, disaster recovery, high availability, documentation and performance as part of all owned applications / deliverables
• Actively participate in scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives
