Mainframe Assembler - COBOL / JCL / VSAM

Role : Mainframe Assembler

Combination of COBOL, JCL, VSAM with DB2 - Resources need to be strong developers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Mainframe Assembler, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
• Analyze and understand complex legacy code to extract and document business rules.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Perform impact analysis, coding, unit testing, and debugging of mainframe components.
• Work on CICS and MQ Series for transaction and messaging-related tasks.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Utilize mainframe utilities and development tools for daily development and support Skills :
• 5+years of Hands-on Development experience
• Strong Experience required on Mainframe Assembler
• Very good Hands-on in Cobol, JCL, VSAM, Db2, Mainframe Utilities,
• Strong Coding experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM.
• Work experience in CICS / MQ series.
• Strong analytical skills to independently analyze complex code and extract business rules.
• Willingness to WFO ODC (No WFH).
• JAVA / JASON-LD will be added advantage
