Your Role :

As a Lead Software Engineer-Quality Assurance , you will be responsible for leading and implementing robust automation frameworks and strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our fintech products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and UX / UI designers, to identify testing requirements, develop test plans, and execute automated tests throughout the software development lifecycle.

You will contribute and mentor the QA team by example with strong hands-on experience across a complex systems architecture. This is a senior role in which the successful candidate will drive some of our most complex projects in addition to providing and managing the strategic direction.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement automation strategies, frameworks, and tools, including Robot Framework, to drive effective testing of our fintech products.
• Lead the design and development of automated test scripts and test suites, for web-based, Api and mobile applications, ensuring high test coverage and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery (CI / CD) pipeline, enabling rapid and reliable deployment.
• Conduct a thorough analysis of system requirements and technical specifications to identify areas for automation and define appropriate test scenarios.
• Perform hands-on testing of complex features and functionalities, utilising both manual and automated testing techniques.
• Proactively identify and report defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and retesting.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the QA team, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation testing, and advocate for their adoption within the organisation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality is embedded throughout the development process, promoting a culture of quality excellence.
