Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President Privacy Office Compliance Manager
operations of the privacy team ensuring that all processes and procedures are efficient strong project management skills and a deep understanding of privacy regulations. The Compliance Manager will work closely with the legal privacy team compliance managers and relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Operational Maintenance : Manage the day-to-day operations of the Privacy Office including workflow privacy framework standards policies and technology management.
Compliance Management : Support in the implementation of all relevant privacy laws and regulations including DPDP GDPR CCPA and other global privacy standards by enhancing the global privacy framework and controls.
Project management : To be able to manage large privacy implementations for regions privacy compliance and global tools.
Automation : Drive automation and technology for privacy solutions to increase efficiency and compliance maturity
Risk Management Develop implement and maintain a privacy risk framework through regular assessments and audits
Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including IT Information Security Risk Management Client Operations etc. to ensure privacy compliance across the organization.
Training and Awareness : Develop & design privacy training programs and communication campaigns to employees to promote a culture of privacy awareness.
Reporting & Metrics : Build metrics & dashboards with the help of the latest tools & technology. Support in providing and refining regular reports on privacy compliance and operational performance to C-level
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in business administration Law Information Technology or a related field.
experience in privacy operations compliance or a related field.
Strong knowledge of global privacy laws and regulations including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Proven project management skills (including designing visual tools project planning and reporting tools) and solid self-starter capabilities.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g. MS project) data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong networking skills preferable in a multinational work environment.
Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP / E) or equivalent certification.
Experience with One Trust or similar privacy management tools.
Experience with working in a multinational corporation or consultancy firm.
Familiarity with privacy issues in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence.
Organizing skills and capacity to manage projects remotely.
