Seeking: Engineering Manager
Location: South Eastern Suburbs

Experience level: 8 - 15 years

Annual Salary: Market rate and negotiable for the right candidate ($160K - $170K + Super range)
Qualifications: Engineering Degree
Are you looking for a new challenging role within the manufacturing industry? Do you have experience in the metals industry or something similar where you could apply your knowledge as well as lead and mentor? Do you enjoy working in fast paced environments?
Our client is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 15 - 20 people and support a production team of 40 - 50 working across 3 shifts, over 6 days.
Ideally, you will have great organisational skills, team leading, people skills, a hands-on attitude / working style, high mechanical aptitude and continuous improvement mindset are essential for this role.
Ideally, you will have a solid background and work experience in the metals manufacturing field or in an industry with a similar manufacturing process to metals (heating & cooling) which will help with understanding the current equipment they have (furnaces) and how to continuously improve the factory to support production & sales.
