About the Role :
As a Lead, People Partner & Development professional at Qrate, this position will be instrumental in supporting with the execution of people strategies, addressing employee needs, and supporting business objectives. This position will work closely with the Principal Consultant, People Strategy & Development to provide HR business partner support to staff, assist and lead talent. Acquisition, HR compliance, benefits, facilitate L&D initiatives, HRMS implementation, employee wellbeing and will provide general administrative support to the function. This position combines operational HR responsibilities with strategy execution initiatives to build a culture of learning, compliance, and growth.
- Assist in implementing people strategies that align with business goals.
- Collaborate and assist to develop and execute initiatives for improving company culture, engagement, and performance.
- Lead and facilitate recruitment efforts, including interviews, assessments and onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Assist in the design and implement employee learning and development programs for Qrate and its clients.
- Develop and maintain training calendars, coordinate training sessions, identify skill gaps targeted development plans to improve company performance culture.
- Serve as a trusted people partner to employees and managers, providing guidance on people-related matters such as onboarding, performance management, and career development.
- Escalate and support with employee grievance as per the process and advice of company leadership.
- Support with the adoption and implementation of HRMS across the company, ensuring seamless integration with HR operations.
- Train employees on Zoho functionalities and address any system-related challenges.
- Streamline HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
- Facilitate employee and corporate wellbeing initiatives across the company including but not limited to milestone celebrations, workplace wellbeing support and employee assistance support.
- Assist in ensuring statutory compliance including POSH, statutory obligations, conducting HR audits, and driving continuous process improvement.
- Conduct research on HR best practices and trends, recommending and adapting suitable solutions for Qrate and its clients.
- Compile, manage & analyze HR data to identify trends and insights leading to data-based decisions.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting for HR processes, including financial settlements, vendor payments, and statutory compliance.
- Assist with administrative activities such as documentation, record-keeping, finance payments, payroll input to the finance team, and compliance tracking.
- Carry out any additional requirement within the purview of the role as assigned by the company.
Supervisory and Collaboration :
Reports to Principal Consultant, People Strategy & Development.Works closely with : Internal Qrate verticals, client teams, external vendors.Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in HRBP, L&D, or related roles, preferably within consulting or project-based environments.Certifications in HRBP, SHRM, SPHR, or CIPD is an added advantage.Previous experience in managing HR operations and administration.Proficiency in HR technologies and data-driven decision-making.Excellent communication skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and building strong relationships.Ability to manage complex HR operations across diverse teams.Travel and Special Requirements :
This role is required to travel to client places from time-to-time and when required work from client location.
