Business Development Manager Offline Sales the Role
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager (Offline Sales) with experience in healthcare / pharma sales to drive growth through doctor engagement, referral generation, and clinic / hospital partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of medical professionals and proven expertise in managing healthcare channels to achieve sales and business expansion objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Drive offline sales initiatives across hospitals, clinics, and specialty centers.
- Generate and manage referrals from doctors to meet patient acquisition and revenue targets.
- Identify and onboard new business opportunities within the medical ecosystem.
- Maintain strong follow-ups to ensure conversions and repeat business.
Doctor & Channel Engagement
Build and nurture strong relationships with doctors : General Physicians, Surgeons, Gynecologists, Dentists, ENT Specialists, and Gastroenterologists.Conduct regular on-ground engagement activities (CME programs, seminars, awareness drives, and one-to-one meetings).Ensure effective communication of company offerings, treatment programs, and patient support services to doctors and healthcare providers.Hospital / Clinic Channel Management
Develop partnerships with clinics, hospitals, and diagnostic centers to create sustainable business pipelines.Ensure smooth coordination between clinical partners and internal teams for patient management.Monitor and improve channel performance with data-driven insights.Market Intelligence & Strategy
Analyze local market trends, competitor activities, and referral patterns to identify growth opportunities.Share market insights with leadership to design effective business strategies.Contribute to territory planning and expansion Experience : 35 years of proven sales experience in healthcare, hospital, or pharmaceutical sectors.Must-have : Prior experience in on-ground doctor engagement, referral generation, and managing clinic / hospital channels.Strong network with doctors, including General Physicians, Surgeons, Gynecologists, Dentists, ENT Specialists, and Gastroenterologists.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of managing field-based activities independently.Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare, or related fields (MBA preferred)(ref : iimjobs.com)
