Senior Product Manager, Release Engineering

Summary

Traditionally delivered on-premises and self-managed, today our customers are increasingly looking to leverage the power of the cloud to reduce IT complexity, minimize operational costs, and unlock innovations that can differentiate their business. More specifically, they want to transition select insurance lines of business for hosting in Guidewire Cloud so they can focus on business agility while Guidewire assumes full operational responsibility as a true Cloud / SaaS solution provider.

Guidewire is looking for an experienced product manager to drive the development and maturity of our Release Engineering capabilities. You will work with a talented team of product managers, engineers, and other key contributors focused on compilation, assembly, delivery and adoption of source code into finished products or other software components.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, results-oriented individual responsible for driving the end-to-end enablement lifecycle from concept and requirements specification through successful adoption by Guidewire cloud customers.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product strategy, roadmap, and vision for Release Engineering, with a deep understanding of Guidewire software.
• Establish a path to production for all Guidewire applications and services
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to release velocity, quality, and end-user satisfaction.
• Help evolve and refine Guidewire's agile development lifecycle to accelerate delivery of capabilities to optimize cloud hosting of existing products.
• Demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced work environment.
