Job descriptionCollaborating with UX designers to enhance usability and ensure design consistency Optimizing applications for speed and scalability Maintaining and improving reusable front-end components and libraries Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers Staying up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and best practices Informing design decisions through coded prototypes and component libraries Prototyping new experiences for seamless user onboarding and SaaS product integration Building simpler, reusable experiences to improve product usability Working in an international context with diverse professional growth opportunities Bachelor's Degree Master's Degree Background in computer science / engineering or web design with 6+ years of coding experience Strong interest in design and front-end development Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD Proficiency in ReactJS, Typescript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) Hands-on experience with Carbon Design System (CarbonJS) Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS / SASS, and responsive web design Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) Proficient in code versioning tools , such as GitHub Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a global team Experience with CarbonJS Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less, Stylus) Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, etc.) Expertise in front-end development best practices Understanding of mobile-first, content-driven responsive design Knowledge of building accessible and localized user interfaces Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies Familiarity with version control tools (Git, GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket) Experience with CI / CD tools and workflows
