Role Description :
- We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager / Sr. Sales Manager for a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai.
- This role will be responsible for driving business growth in the Maharashtra and Goa regions.
- The position involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, end-users, and decision-makers in the pharmaceutical industry, developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, conducting regular customer visits in the region to strengthen client engagement, collaborating closely with internal departments to meet business objectives, and providing technical sales support by assessing customer requirements and offering the right solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements :
The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of proven sales management experience in OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) processing equipment, preferably in granulation, coating, and capsule filling machines, along with strong business management skills and experience handling key accounts in the pharmaceutical machinery sector.A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering is required, and an MBA in Business, Marketing, or a related field is highly preferred.The candidate should have excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, proficiency in market research and sales forecasting, and a track record of achieving sales targets.Technical proficiency with the ability to assess client needs and provide effective solutions is essential.Experience working with leading OSD pharma companies will be considered a strong plus.The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, with strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.(ref : iimjobs.com)
