About The Role
The Market Aligned HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Veeam is responsible for shaping and executing people strategies across India, partnering with business leaders to strengthen employee experience, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. The role supports the growth and scaling of Engineering, Sales, and Support teams, driving meaningful and empowering employee journeys. Positioned during Veeam's expansion phase in India, it offers the opportunity to influence culture, inclusion, and well-being while collaborating with global HR teams to deliver world-class people practices in a dynamic, innovative, and inclusive environment.
What You'll Do
- Local labor legislation advisor
- Advise people managers and Business Aligned HRBPs on local labor laws, regulations and internal policies as applicable in India
- Custodian of local compliance requirements
- Drive the implementation of HR policies and processes at the country level
- Partner with Employee Relations to manage complex employee relations cases and investigations with a fair and consistent approach
- First point-of-contact for People Managers
- Act as support to People Managers for recurring employee life-cycle activities (including, but not limited to, annual compensation reviews (ACR), performance ratings, data, hiring, etc.)
- Support with relocation activities as and when applicable
- Implement global People & Culture programs and initiatives for local teams
- Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement and workplace satisfaction
- Monitor and report on HR KPIs, trends, and risks as and when applicable
- Identify key areas of concern, perform root cause analysis and suggest solutions for key challenges impacting the business in the country
- Support Change management efforts (as applicable)
- The set up of a new legal entity and all required steps to ensure legal compliance
- Initiatives in times of organizational transformation or scaling
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Masters' degree or HR certification preferred)10-12 years of progressive HR experience with majority experience in HR business partnering; mix of HR CoE and HRBP experience preferredStrong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practicesEffective communicator with a track record of building trusted relationships with business leadersHigh attention to detail and accuracy in executionExperience in a matrixed or multinational (tech) organization is a plusFluency in written and spoken English is a mustBonus Skills
