Engineering Underwriter

The role is with a leading General Insurance Firm.

Role – Engineering Underwriting.

Designation – Lead or AVP.

Location – Mumbai HO.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the implementation of underwriting strategies (risk analysis, terms conditions, portfolio mix & profitability) and solutions (e.g. product development, underwriting tools and processes).

Operate within established organization Risk Policy, Underwriting Guideline, underwriting governance policies and local rules & regulations.

Contribute to development of technical underwriting guidelines, and Best Practices, including controls and procedures.

Qualifications

Good understanding of Commercial Line Underwriting especially Engineering LOB.

Required Skills

Logical thinking ability

Sound analytical & solution oriented mindset.

Good presentation & communication skills

Good in Excel & MIS Analysis
