OVERALL OBJECTIVES :                As part of the IT Infrastructure Support Team for Eurofins Environment Testing Europe you will join a growing international team to work on maintenance of newly deployed segregated IT User Zones and Application Availability Groups Cloud infrastructure. Your role will be to support daily Compute operations tasks in a complex hybrid environment in Azure Cloud and local HyperV infrastructure.  You will collaborate with number of different IT Support and Delivery Teams on daily basis. It will require strong Azure & HyperV virtualization AD Security and Networking skills. Open mind and ability to cooperate with multiple individuals in a multicultural environment is essential.

SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS :

• Manage maintain and optimize Azure compute services as well as on-premises Hyper-V clusters and virtual machine infrastructure
• Implement automation and orchestration for deployment scaling and management using PowerShell
• Monitor compute infrastructure health troubleshoot incidents and execute root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with cloud architects network and security teams as well as application owners at the international corporate level to support compute capacity planning and optimization and best meet business requirements in terms of security cost and effectiveness
• Enforce security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud and on-prem environments
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code for both Azure and Hyper-V platforms
• Provide technical leadership mentorship and knowledge sharing within the compute operations team
• Maintain detailed documentation of operational procedures configurations and workflows
• Stay current with environment version updates emerging technologies and industry best practices
