Automic Administrator (3–6 Years Experience)

Role Summary

As an Automic Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Automation Engine (AE) infrastructure, including version upgrades, agent deployments, and designing complex job workflows across multiple environments. This role requires strong expertise in Automic tools, scripting, and troubleshooting, along with the ability to optimize performance and ensure smooth batch operations.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform

AE version upgrades , agent installations, configurations, and deployments.

Maintain a deep understanding of

Automic architecture and utilities .

Design, develop, and implement

automation workflows and job scheduling

across diverse platforms.

Create

enterprise scheduling solutions

in Automic, including dependencies, SLA management, and alerts configuration.

Prepare

design, release, and implementation documentation

to support deployments.

Optimize job performance by improving resource utilization and efficiency.

Develop and maintain

Automic scripts

to support automation processes.

Monitor and manage

Oracle Retail batch jobs , ensuring reliability and performance.

Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve job failures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Oversee

daily batch monitoring , ensuring timely execution and corrective action for job failures.

Good to Have

Hands-on experience with

Oracle Middleware

and

Oracle Retail applications .

Functional knowledge of the

Retail industry , particularly in supply chain, omnichannel shopping, ecommerce, order management, and logistics.

Experience working in

complex matrix environments

with internal and external stakeholders.
