We are looking for a highly skilled IBDP Mathematics Tutor (Part-Time, Online) to support students across Analysis & Approaches (AA) and Applications & Interpretation (AI) at both SL and HL levels. Key Responsibilities
- Academic Instruction
- Teach IBDP Mathematics AA / AI (SL / HL) in a clear, structured, and engaging manner.
- Cover key topics across algebra, functions, calculus, statistics, probability, geometry, vectors, modeling, and HL extensions.
- Conduct problem-solving sessions using past papers and IB-style assessments.
- Assist students with their Mathematics Internal Assessment (IA) — topic selection, modeling, structure, mathematical reasoning, and academic integrity.
Student Mentorship
Diagnose learning gaps and develop personalised study plans.Provide actionable feedback after each class to enhance performance.Mentor students on exam strategy, time management, and efficient use of formulas.Track progress and maintain transparent communication with students and parents.Lesson Delivery & Planning
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and practice material tailored to IB standards.Use digital tools such as Desmos, GeoGebra, online graphing tools, and whiteboard platforms.Conduct classes punctually and maintain consistency in scheduling.Adapt teaching methods to suit different student learning styles.Qualifications
Strong academic background in Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.Prior teaching experience in IBDP Math AA / AI.Excellent communication skills and a student-friendly teaching style.Proficiency with digital teaching tools and online lesson delivery.Preferred
Master’s degree in a quantitative field or a teaching certification.Experience guiding students through Math IAs with strong results.Familiarity with IB assessment rubrics, examiner-style marking, and exam pacing.Experience with Extended Essay (Math EE) supervision.Work Structure
