Lead and scale the end-to-end retail insurance business with full ownership of the P&L across both loan-linked and standalone D2C insurance channels.Design and execute high-impact strategies to boost insurance attachment within personal loan and other retail lending journeys.Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing digital sales team focused on customer acquisition, funnel conversions, and persistency.Utilize open databases, digital leads, and optimized customer journeys to maximize sales funnel efficiency and drive cross-sell / upsell performance.Plan and execute digital marketing initiatives including email, SMS, push notifications, and ads to drive customer engagement and insurance purchase intent.Collaborate with product, underwriting, data, marketing, and technology teams to seamlessly integrate and scale digital insurance offerings.Partner with insurance companies to develop bundled products and strengthen commercial outcomes.Track, analyze, and improve key business metrics such as attachment rate, conversion, persistency, and customer acquisition cost.Work with heads of other business units (Retail Loan, Corporate Loan, Personal Loan) to jointly pitch insurance solutions.Develop team capability through training and knowledge-sharing of insurance products and digital sales processes.Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to refine sales strategy.Drive achievement of assigned sales targets while ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.Experience Required :
- Minimum 7 years of experience in retail insurance sales, ideally within Insurtech or D2C digital insurance platforms.
- Background in general and health insurance is preferred.
- Understanding of API-driven insurance distribution, POSP frameworks, and affiliate-led digital sales models.
- Experience in fintech or digital lending environments such as personal loans, BNPL, or credit-led platforms is an advantage.
