Witness The Fitness (WTF) is India’s most advanced tech-enabled fitness ecosystem, transforming how gyms operate through automation, data intelligence, and AI-driven member experiences. We currently manage 50+ gyms across Delhi-NCR and are expanding rapidly toward a national footprint.

This role represents the second line of leadership within WTF’s gym management hierarchy. As an Area Sales & Operations Manager , you will directly drive sales, renewals, and revenue performance across a defined cluster of gyms (typically 20–25 locations) while ensuring operational excellence and SOP compliance.

Position Overview

The Area Sales & Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring consistent revenue growth, renewals, and operational discipline across all assigned gyms. The role demands daily on-ground presence, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to lead multiple teams, including front-desk executives, trainers, and fitness managers.

You will report directly to the Regional Manager (Top Boss) and act as the bridge between central management and gym-level execution teams.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)1. Sales and Revenue Management

  • Own monthly revenue and renewal targets across assigned gyms.
  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance through disciplined lead follow-ups and team monitoring.
  • Review membership funnel metrics including walk-ins, trials, conversions, renewals, and upsells.
  • Implement revenue campaigns, limited-time offers, and festive promotions in coordination with the central marketing and performance team.
  • Ensure that all FDs and trainers understand and execute their individual daily sales targets.
  • Conduct weekly revenue review meetings with gym managers and front-desk teams.

2. Renewal and Retention

  • Maintain a minimum of 80% member renewal rate across gyms.
  • Ensure proactive engagement with expiring members (D-30, D-15, D-7 cycles).
  • Track renewal communication via WhatsApp, calls, and in-person meetings to ensure timely conversions.
  • Identify high-value clients and create personalized retention strategies.
  • 3. Operational Management

  • Maintain daily operational discipline in all gyms including attendance, cleanliness, and member experience.
  • Ensure adherence to gym SOPs related to opening / closing, check-in / out, and shift transitions.
  • Conduct surprise audits to check process compliance, sales behavior, and overall brand presentation.
  • Resolve escalations related to staff behavior, refunds, or customer grievances within 24 hours.
  • 4. Team Leadership and Development

  • Directly manage 10–15 front-desk executives and fitness managers under your cluster.
  • Coach and train the on-ground team on sales communication, professionalism, and upselling techniques.
  • Identify underperforming staff and execute corrective actions through coaching, retraining, or replacement.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and high energy in every gym.
  • 5. Data and Reporting

  • Review and update revenue, renewal, and attendance dashboards daily.
  • Use WTF CRM and internal dashboards to monitor real-time lead conversion and sales progress.
  • Maintain structured weekly reporting to the Regional Manager with actionable insights.
  • Analyze gym-wise performance data to identify gaps and plan interventions.
  • 6. Brand Compliance and Customer Experience

  • Ensure every gym maintains brand presentation standards as defined by WTF guidelines.
  • Guarantee 5-star member experience across all touchpoints – sales, check-in, trainer interaction, and facility quality.
  • Ensure NPS (Net Promoter Score) and feedback ratings remain consistently high.
  • 7. Expansion and Support

  • Support the opening of new gyms within your assigned region by hiring, training, and setting up processes.
  • Work with central teams during acquisitions or transitions to ensure operational readiness from Day 1.
  • KPIs and Metrics

  • Monthly revenue target achievement : 100% across all gyms.
  • Renewal rate : Minimum 80%.
  • Average PT revenue per trainer : ₹40,000 or higher.
  • Attendance and SOP compliance : 95% or higher.
  • Average transformations per gym : Minimum 10 per month.
  • Turnaround time for escalations : Less than 24 hours.
  • Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 3–7 years of experience in fitness, retail, or hospitality sales and operations.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-location operations with large on-ground teams.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and performance-driven mindset.
  • Data-oriented, comfortable using dashboards and CRM systems.
  • Energetic and self-motivated individual with hands-on execution capability.
  • Prior experience with brands like Cult.Fit, Anytime Fitness, Gold’s Gym, or retail chains preferred.
  • Compensation

  • Salary Range : ₹50,000 – ₹80,000 per month (based on experience and performance).
  • Incentives : Monthly revenue-linked bonuses and cluster-level performance rewards.
  • Growth Path

  • High performers in this role will be eligible for elevation to Regional Manager (Top Boss) positions within 6–12 months based on results and leadership capability.
