Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform configuration, development, and testing across the ITSM, HRSD, and CSM modules of the ServiceNow platform.
- Design and implement custom applications using scoped apps, Scripted APIs, UI Builder, and the Now Experience Framework.
- Configure workflows, forms, lists, UI policies, business rules, client / server scripts, and notifications.
- Develop integrations using REST / SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and third-party systems.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, business analysts, and QA engineers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, conduct code reviews, and follow development standards.
- Participate in unit testing, peer reviews, and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and performance.
- Continuously monitor and improve platform health, performance, and usability.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
Exposure to AI and ML capabilities on ServiceNow (e.g., Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent, AI Search).Experience with UI Builder, Polaris (Next Experience), and the Now Experience Component Framework (NECF).Knowledge of DevOps practices, Git-based version control, and CI / CD pipelines.Background or interest in UX, service design, or employee experience.Preferred :
3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.Deep experience in configuration, development, and testing within ITSM, HRSD, and CSM modules.Solid knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, ServiceNow Studio, and Service Portal development.Strong understanding of the ServiceNow data model, ACLs, and platform security best practices.Proven experience with custom application development on the Now Platform.Proficiency with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, App Engine, and ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, ITSM, HRSD, or CSM) strongly preferred.
