SDET / Sr. SDET
We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Tester / SDET with 6-8 years of experience to join our quality assurance team. A Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is expected to design, develop, and execute automated tests using coding skills, contribute to test frameworks, identify and report defects, collaborate closely with development teams, and actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle, demonstrating a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices while taking ownership of test automation initiatives within a project.
Key responsibilities include :
Design and implement robust automated test scripts for various functionalities across web, API and backend testing
Lead the requirement analysis to identify testable scenarios and create comprehensive test plans.
Log detailed defects in a defect tracking system, including clear descriptions, steps to reproduce, and expected behavior.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of existing automated testing frameworks, suggesting enhancements and improvements.
Effectively communicate testing status, risks, and issues to stakeholders including developers, project managers, and QA leads.
