The role holder is responsible for the following :
- To manage end to end life cycle of the employees, maintaining harmonious industrial relations through various HR & IR initiatives such as grievance handling, employee engagement, manpower and welfare cost optimization, talent management & development, and compliance to statutory norms so as to achieve goals of the business with an engaged and healthy workforce.

Provide optimum manpower to ensure seamless execution of production.Maintain manpower and welfare costs within the planned budget through reduction of flexible workforce, providing an optimum manpower mix, and effective negotiation with unions and external vendors for various services.Sales HR Function :
Manage the entire gamut of Sales HR activities for the domestic Business Unit (BU).Employee Development :
Facilitate employee developmental needs by identifying skill gaps and implementing appropriate training interventions.Ensure availability of a skilled workforce to meet departmental goals and targets.Safety Management :
Drive a strong safety culture by ensuring 100% adherence to PPE requirements.Organize behavior-based safety training to achieve zero safety incidents.Identify potential hazards across the plant and implement corrective actions and countermeasures.Industrial Relations (IR) :
Build and maintain a healthy IR climate through efficient trade union management.Ensure achievement of norms agreed upon in the Long-Term Settlement.Statutory Compliance :
Monitor statutory compliance to ensure 100% adherence to applicable acts.Liaise with external regulatory authorities for smooth and friction-free business operations.Employee Engagement & Continuous Improvement :
