Position : QA / Test Engineer

Experience : 5+ Years

Location : Gurgaon, India

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated QA / Test Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both manual and performance testing, with specific expertise in using Postman and JMeter. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our web, server, and mobile applications through rigorous testing, from functional validation to performance and load testing. This is a critical role that requires a collaborative mindset and a strong focus on technical details to identify and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities :

Comprehensive Testing :

Perform end-to-end testing for web, server, and mobile applications to ensure functionality, quality, and user experience.
Conduct in-depth API testing using Postman to validate endpoints, data integrity, and API performance.

Performance & Load Testing :

Execute robust load, stress, and performance testing using JMeter to assess system scalability and reliability under various conditions.

Test Management & Reporting :

Write and execute clear, concise test cases for usability, functional, and regression testing.

Document test results and report defects with clear steps to reproduce, ensuring a streamlined process for developers.

Utilize SQL for backend testing and data validation to verify data integrity and business logic.

Collaboration & Quality Assurance :

Participate actively in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including test planning, test execution, and defect reporting.

Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Core Experience :

Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in software testing.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

Hands-on expertise with Postman for API testing.

Proven experience with JMeter for performance and load testing.

Strong knowledge of SQL for backend verification and database validation.

Testing Methodologies :

Solid exposure to usability, functional, and regression testing.

Professional Attributes :

Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach.

Preferred Skills

Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and Agile / Scrum methodologies.
