THE ROLE

Join the Pure Storage Fusion Team and redefine how global enterprises manage scale and consume storage across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. You will be a primary architect and implementer of core distributed services that unify block file and object data delivering a seamless resilient and high-performance platform. This role is your chance to influence technical strategy and collaborate with world-class engineering teams across the globe driving innovation that simplifies storage at massive scale.

WHAT YOULL DO

Architect and implement robust highly available and secure control and data plane services that form the backbone of Fusions unified platform across on-premises arrays and multiple cloud providers.

Invent and optimize distributed algorithms and orchestration logic to achieve industry-leading data resiliency performance and efficiency within multi-array and multi-cloud environments.

Own the feature lifecycle from technical concept and system design through deployment and operational excellence ensuring production quality observability and efficiency in large-scale systems.

Drive technical strategy and best practices across teams mentoring engineers and establishing high standards for code quality testing and continuous delivery pipelines.

Collaborate globally with engineering teams in Silicon Valley Prague and Bengaluru to deliver features that directly impact customer experience and transform their data management infrastructure.

WHAT YOU BRING

Deep expertise in the design implementation and optimization of large-scale highly distributed and fault-tolerant systems software.

Proficiency in systems programming with languages like Go Java or C and a strong command of data structures and concurrent programming paradigms.

Specialized knowledge in one or more critical areas : networking distributed data protection operating systems internals container orchestration (like Kubernetes) or cloud-native services.

Proven ability to drive complex technical projects influence architecture decisions and demonstrate a strong leadership presence within cross-functional engineering teams.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore you will be expected to work from the OFFICELOCATION office in compliance with Pures policies unless you are on PTO or work travel or other approved leave.
