Who are we?

Krones Digital Solutions India (KDSI) is a subsidiary of the Krones Group and is a part of the Krones.Digital community.

The Krones Group, headquartered in Neutraubling, Germany, plans, develops, and manufactures machines and complete lines for the fields of process technology, bottling, and packaging, plus intralogistics and recycling. Every day, millions of bottles, cans and containers are "processed" in Krones lines - in alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage industries, dairy and liquid food industry as well as in the chemical, pharmaceutical and home & personal care industries.

It is quite likely that the bottle of water, cola or juice in your hand is manufactured in one of the Krones lines!!

Krones Digital Solutions India is created as of 2023 to be the Technology Competence Centre for Krones, focusing on developing software solutions for the Internal organization as well as for the customers of Krones Global.

Who are we looking for?

We have an exciting opportunity as “Application Packager (with Powershell)” , who is well versed in Software Release Management Process

The ideal candidate needs to have a strong understanding of Application Packaging Concepts on Windows as well as MacOS Platforms.

Expert Knowledge on PowerShell Scripting, Using InstallShield / Flexera Admin Studio Suite, Microsoft Intune Suite, Application Deployments Methods, Application issues Trouble Shooting.

The role will directly report to “Manager Workplace Design” Team and will be based in Bangalore.

What are you in for? (Roles and responsibilities)

§ Evaluation of software requirement and creating Software Packages as per specialist department request.

Package or repackage an application as specified below : -

• Create software packages with customer specific adaptions / requests.
• Create software packages with Flexera Admin studio using MSI technology.
• Knowledge on MSIX Packaging technology
• Create software packages for MacOS, based on customer specific adaptions / requests.
• Create PowerShell / PSAppDeployToolkit script-based installation packages.
• Implementing packaging standards as per company guidelines
• Configure package deployment in the endpoint management suite (Microsoft Intune).
• Troubleshooting in case of faulty packages
• Knowledge on Evaluating the software and compatibility testing.
• Monitor Production Release and remediate in case of any app installation failures.
• Create and Import applications to Microsoft Intune and Monitor the same.
• Close cooperation with International Technical counterparts and stakeholders.
• Work on Incidents / Request related to application deployments and endpoint management.
• Logical thinking and automation related to Endpoint management, especially via scripting should be able to create or customize.

Requirements

§ A minimum of 3+ years RELEVANT Experience in software packaging and deployment

§ Expert Skills in Flexera AdminStudio InstallShield or a similar packaging tool

§ Expert Skills in Microsoft Intune / MEM

§ Expert Skills in OS Microsoft Windows 11, MacOS

§ Expert Skills in standard applications (e.g. Microsoft Apps, Adobe)

§ Expert Skills in PowerShell & Shell Scripting Knowledge.

§ Knowledge on Intune Endpoint Management would be an added advantage.

§ Strong Process knowledge according to ITIL good practices and with present or past employers

§ Good analytical thinking

§ Good Communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

§ Active team player and possess independent working ability.

Academic Qualification and Certifications :

Any Graduate or a Diploma With necessary relevant experience as per requirement section mentioned above.

Optional or good to have certifications :

ITIL (V4) foundation certification or any additional certification would be an added advantage.
