Role Overview :
Medvarsity, Asia’s largest Medical EdTech company, is seeking an accomplished Quality & TQM leader to establish and drive a holistic quality management framework across business operations, product delivery, and customer experience. The incumbent will lead the development of 1SO-aligned quality systems, implement Total Quality Management (TQM) practices, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across Medvarsity’s education and technology functions. This is a senior role suited for professionals with deep exposure to quality systems in education, healthcare, or regulated industries, capable of integrating process excellence into every layer of business growth and service delivery.
Key
Responsibilities :
Strategic Quality Leadership
Design and institutionalize the organization-wide Quality & TQM framework aligned with ISO standards, business objectives, and compliance requirements.
Establish robust quality governance mechanisms covering academic content, platform delivery, learner engagement, and customer operations.
Partner with senior leadership to integrate quality KPIs into enterprise dashboards, enabling data-driven decision-making.
System, Process, and Compliance Excellence
Drive ISO certification and audits across business verticals, ensuring adherence to statutory and industry best practices.
Develop and continuously refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), risk assessment models, and internal audit frameworks. Lead compliance with medical education norms, data privacy standards, and digital platform security benchmarks.
Operational Quality & Continuous Improvement
Oversee process audits across sales, delivery, and support functions to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to improve process capability and eliminate non-value-adding activities.
Collaborate with Technology, Learning, and Business teams to drive automation and innovation-led quality enhancements.
Capability Building & Quality Culture
Build and mentor a high-performing Quality team; instill a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence.
Partner with Learning & Development to create quality awareness programs, internal auditor training, and TQM certification pathways.
Establish feedback loops with customers, learners, and partners to translate insights into service excellence.
Analytics, Reporting & Governance
Publish monthly quality dashboards and present key trends, risks, and improvement outcomes to leadership.
Leverage analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for root cause analysis, trend identification, and quality ROI tracking.
Provide strategic input to annual business reviews and operational planning from a quality perspective.
Required Skills & Experience
12-18 years of experience in Quality Management, Process Excellence, or TQM leadership roles. Proven experience in ISO implementation, internal / external audits, and certification processes.
Exposure to quality systems in Education Technology, Healthcare, or Knowledge Services preferred.
Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies (Green / Black Belt certification preferred) or any other relevant qualification / certification.
Strong understanding of CRM systems, LMS platforms, and business process tools. Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and strategic influence skills.
