The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Java designer (with management activities) who is passionate about building scalable, user-friendly applications. He / She should have deep microservices expertise and hands-on design experience. This role combines technical leadership with people management, guiding multiple delivery teams to build robust, scalable systems for distributed transactions. A strong communicator who can translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and mentor engineers toward growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical vision for modern architecture, ensuring scalability, resilience, and alignment with business goals.
• Design, review, and approve high-level and detailed architectural artifacts (patterns, data models, service boundaries, API contracts, integration points).
• Lead the design and implementation of distributed transactions using Saga patterns (orchestrated and / or choreographed approaches) across multiple services.
• Drive best practices for microservices, including domain-driven design (DDD), event-driven architectures, messaging, idempotency, eventual consistency, and fault tolerance.
• Guide API design, service decomposition, data ownership, service contracts, and data consistency strategies across boundaries.
• Ensure quality and performance through design reviews, code reviews, and advocating testability, observability, and security in all services.
• Build and lead multiple cross-functional development teams; mentor engineers, conduct performance reviews, and support career development.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and continued development of team members; manage staffing plans and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with European manager to understand the roadmap and discuss on opportunities.
• Manage risk, identify technical debt, and implement remediation plans; communicate status and trade-offs to stakeholders.
