Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL protocols using Biovia Pipeline Pilot v2017R2 for extracting, transforming, and loading data from lab systems (gLIMS, MODA, LabWare, Thermo Fisher) and flat files.
- Configure ETL parameters including DB environments (Dev, Test, Stage, Prod), data classes, identifiers, folder paths, and runtime settings.
- Perform schema-level transformations and integrate data into Oracle 19c business layers for EMDA modules.
- Troubleshoot ETL failures, ODBC connection issues, and Oracle-specific exceptions.
- Collaborate with DBAs and EMDA support teams to resolve data access, performance, and integration issues.
- Support audit trail retrieval and verification processes using SQL queries and EMDA audit tables.
- Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to validation documentation (ADLC plans, SOPs, design specifications).
- Provide analytical support for EMDA modules such as :
- Heatmaps
- MODA History & Trend Check
- Utility / Water Trending
- Automated Reports
- ASRAT (Aseptic Site Risk Assessment Tool)
Required Skills
7+ years of experience in ETL development, preferably in regulated / GMP environments.Strong hands-on expertise with Biovia Pipeline Pilot (protocol design, parameter configuration, error handling).Advanced SQL skills with experience in Oracle, SQL Server, flat file ingestion.Knowledge of GMP compliance, audit trail management, and validation documentation.Hands-on experience with tools such as Visual Studio, VS Code, Postman, JIRA, GitHub / Bitbucket, Toad (3+ years).Preferred Attributes
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Experience working with global teams in a remote setup.Ability to interpret and analyse environmental monitoring data for compliance-driven decision-making.Skills Required
