Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Surat for a Sr. Executive- Procurement. The Sr. Executive- Procurement will be responsible for managing the procurement process, identifying & evaluating suppliers, negotiating procurement contracts and maintaining inventory levels through timely supply of materials. The role also involves maintaining vendor relationships, analysing market trends, and collaborating with other departments to meet procurement goals and ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of minimum 4-5 years in procurement, supplier sourcing, contract drafting & negotiation
• Strong analytical and market research skills with ability to identify suppliers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with ERP (SAP / Zoho) systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in the laboratory testing or environmental sector is a plus
• Basic understanding of documentation for IMS compliances
• Performance evaluation of the supplier
