About the Job :
We are looking for a Lead - Data Analytics & BI who will be responsible for driving data-driven initiatives, building scalable solutions, and leading a team to deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, SQL, and BI solutions, combined with leadership skills to guide projects from conception to execution. This role requires both technical depth and strong communication to interact with stakeholders and business teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of data analytics and BI solutions.
- Architect and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics workflows.
- Leverage Python and libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) to build advanced analytics and automation solutions.
- Work with SQL and RDBMS to design complex queries, optimize performance, and manage data quality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, dashboards, and business reporting needs.
- Mentor and guide junior developers and analysts in coding best practices, analytics methods, and problem-solving approaches.
- Drive adoption of best practices in code quality, version control (Git / Bitbucket), and unit testing.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate data solutions with ReactJS / JavaScript / HTML5-based dashboards.
- Communicate effectively with business and technical teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
Required Skills
6 -11 years of hands-on experience in Python, with a strong focus on data analytics projects.Strong understanding of Python data structures, algorithms, and libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Requests, etc.).Advanced SQL skills with solid experience working with RDBMS.Expertise in at least one Python framework (Django, Flask, Pyramid).Experience with unit testing frameworks (pytest, unittest).Good understanding of Git / Bitbucket and version control practices.Familiarity with frontend technologies (ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5).Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.Nice to Have :
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).Knowledge of big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).Understanding of DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines.(ref : hirist.tech)
