Description : Job Summary :
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Embedded Systems Engineer with 46 years of experience in designing, developing, and troubleshooting embedded solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong programming expertise in C, a solid understanding of ARM-based microcontrollers, and hands-on experience with RTOS or bare-metal environments.
The role involves architecting and developing reliable, high-performance embedded systems while working closely with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions on time.
Key Responsibilities : Responsibilities :
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Estimate efforts and contribute to system architecture and design discussions.
- Design, develop, and test embedded software based on project needs.
- Review design documents, code, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Debug and resolve complex software and hardware integration issues.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones with high-quality output.
Other Responsibilities :
Communicate effectively with customers via calls, meetings, or email.Represent the team in customer discussions and reviews.Provide technical suggestions and value additions to customer projects.Support knowledge sharing and conduct technical training sessions for team members.Be open to onsite assignments and able to coordinate small technical teams when required.Area of Expertise :
Strong C programming skills for embedded applications.Sound understanding of ARM Cortex-A / Cortex-M and other microcontroller architectures.Experience in bare-metal and RTOS-based embedded development.Proficiency in device driver development and system integration.Good debugging and problem-solving skills using tools like JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.Familiarity with Linux kernel programming and low-level driver development (added advantage).Exposure to cloud integration (AWS, Microsoft Azure, IBM Watson, Ayla Cloud, etc.) is desirable.(ref : hirist.tech)
