Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the showroom, providing them with a warm and friendly atmosphere
- Understand and educate customers on our products, including design features, materials, and pricing
- Assist customers in finding the right furniture for their homes, taking into consideration their needs, style, and budget
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom, ensuring all products are properly displayed and in stock.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment
- Collaborate with the sales team to track and fulfill customer orders in a timely manner
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, providing prompt and effective solutions
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new product offerings to be able to provide informed expertise to customers
- Assist in organizing and hosting events, such as product launches and sales promotions
- Contribute to the overall success of the showroom by achieving sales targets and providing feedback to improve processes and customer experiences
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred2-4 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail or furniture salesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focusAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsA positive and enthusiastic attitudeProficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applicationsFlexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as neededKnowledge and understanding of furniture design and style trends preferredSkills Required
