Project Engineer [19 / 10 / 2025]

Role : Seating Project Engineer

Required Technical Skill Set : Catia V5 / V6, seating system development

Desired Experience Range : 7-12 Yrs

Location : Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities :

• Experience in seating system development or interior component engineering.
• Strong understanding of materials, mechanisms, and occupant comfort principles
• Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA V5 / V6) and PLM systems.
• Excellent communication and project leadership skills.
• A degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as Mechanical, Automobile, or Product design, is typically required
• Good understanding of project management, commodity planning, system weight and cost management.
• Familiarity with seat safety systems (e.g., airbags, sensors, ISOFIX).
• Experience with premium vehicle programs and luxury interior design.
• Knowledge of global standards (FMVSS, UN-ECE, Euro NCAP).
• Ability to work across multiple sites and manage complex supplier relationships.
