Summary
Help build the next generation of comfortable, sustainable homes. Working alongside our AI-driven platform, we’re building, you’ll design ultra-efficient heating and domestic hot water systems for projects ranging from bespoke renovations to 1,000-unit master plans. You’ll collaborate directly with architects, developers and installers to turn concepts into reality. Join us to shape a growing business that’s focused on delivery and not just drawings.
Shape the Future of Sustainable Living – MEP Engineer
Do you want to engineer the next generation of net‑zero homes, not just draft mechanical drawings?
We are developing a platform that revolutionises the design and delivery of residential developments.
We need a mechanical engineer who’s ready to push boundaries and create real‑world impact. If you’re inspired by purpose‑driven engineering and want to see your work translate directly into successful buildings, this could be your opportunity.
Our Vision
We combines MyHubb, which delivers bespoke MEP design services that prioritise energy efficiency and regulatory compliance, with HubbPro. This AI‑powered platform right‑sizes energy systems to cut capital costs and maximise returns. Every design focuses on sustainability, using energy-efficient technologies to lower long-term costs and create greener, future-friendly homes. Our platform also evaluates heating system options and helps developers select the most cost‑effective solutions for each project.
But our approach goes beyond consultancy.
We align closely with project delivery—working hand-in-hand with architects, developers, and contractors to ensure that the systems we design are commercially viable, buildable, and optimised for both small renovations and 1,000-unit masterplans
What Makes This Opportunity Unique
Mission‑driven engineering :
Help deliver comfortable, low‑carbon homes that meet and exceed Future Home Standards. Your designs will directly influence built projects rather than stay on paper.
- Cutting‑edge technology : Collaborate with software engineers to refine our AI‑powered simulation engine that extracts project data, runs detailed performance analyses and optimises mechanical systems.
- High‑impact projects : Work on a wide range of developments—from bespoke single‑home renovations to 1,000+‑unit communities—ensuring mechanical systems are right‑sized, efficient and cost‑effective.
What You’ll Do
Design high-performance mechanical systems : Specify heating, ventilation, and domestic hot-water solutions for residential developments that maximise energy efficiency, comfort, and safety. Analyse and select heat-pump configurations, district-heating options, and other emerging technologies.Optimise and simulate : Utilise our digital tools to evaluate various configurations, perform thermal and hydraulic calculations, and refine designs based on simulation outputs and real-world constraints.Bridge design and construction : Work closely with architects, developers and contractors to ensure designs are buildable, commercially viable and aligned with project budgets and timelines.Advise on sustainability : Integrate passive design strategies, renewable heat sources, and advanced control systems to deliver energy-efficient and future-proof solutions.S upport project delivery : Participate in design reviews, contribute to installation guidance and provide on‑site or remote support during commissioning to ensure systems perform as intended.Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a high‑calibre mechanical engineer who combines technical excellence with visionary thinking. The ideal candidate will have :
A minimum B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related field; a master’s degree or chartered status (CIBSE / IMechE) is strongly preferred.5+ years of experience in mechanical services design for residential or mixed‑use developments, with a track record of delivering high‑performance projects.Deep knowledge of heating and domestic hot water systems, including heat pumps, low‑temperature networks, thermal storage and advanced control strategies.Proficiency in thermal modelling, load calculations and relevant software (e.g., IES VE, TAS, EnergyPlus, Revit, AutoCAD).AutoCAD / REVIT proficiency desirableThorough understanding of UK building regulations, Future Home Standards and low‑carbon technologies – THIS IS CRITICALCuriosity, open‑mindedness and a drive to challenge conventional practice; you can think beyond “the way it’s always been done.”Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams.Work Schedule
