Chartered Accountant

Experience :

Minimum of 2-4 years in core areas of Accounts, Finance, Taxation, Company Secretary, and Audit.

Qualifications :

Post-Graduation : Chartered Accountant (First Attempt, Second Attempt)

Graduation : B.Com

Functional Expertise : Accounts, Finance, Taxation, Company Secretary, and Audit

Industry Experience : Preferred experience in the Real Estate / Construction industry

Technical Skills :

Strong proficiency in Excel, Tally, MS Office, and Internet-based systems

Solid understanding of accounting principles, taxation laws, and corporate governance

Key Responsibilities :

The following responsibilities apply across all entities : Company, Trust, and Individual.

A. Accounts Management :

Oversee and manage daily accounting operations to ensure efficient financial management

Monitor, analyze, and prepare accurate financial reports and statements for timely decision-making

Establish and enforce best practices in accounting methods, policies, and principles

Coordinate and execute annual audits to ensure compliance and transparency

Continuously improve accounting systems and processes, and initiate corrective actions where necessary

Proactively avoid legal challenges by staying informed of current and proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations, and recommending process improvements

Assign projects and provide guidance to the accounting team to ensure precision, compliance, and timely execution

Ensure accurate and timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial cycles

B. Taxation Management :

Oversee and manage the tax provision and tax compliance processes for various entities

Prepare and manage tax documentation, addressing all information / data requests in a timely manner

In-depth knowledge of Direct Taxes, including Tax Deduction at Source (TDS), filing of Income Tax returns, TDS returns, and withholding tax obligations

Extensive knowledge of Indirect Taxes, particularly Service Tax and GST procedures

Prepare and submit responses to scrutiny assessments, penalty notices, show cause notices, advance tax notices, rectification letters, and manage appeals effectively

Remuneration :
